These Floating Bins Will Clean Our Oceans

The Youth Stirke Again

Well I’m not quite sure just how young these guys are, but their contribution is surely noteworthy.  Andrew Turton and Pete Ceglinski hail from Australia, and are the creators of the Seabin.  Basically a floating trash receptacle capable of collecting plastic bottles, paper, oil, fuel, and even detergent pollution the ocean surface.

From The Fish’s Mouth

“One of the goals is to make the Seabin from our own plastics to create another Seabin to capture more, it’s a domino effect…The second goal is to create a world where we don’t need the Seabin.”

How To Support

Currently all production is done in house, and with a launch date of mid-late 2016, these guys are going to need all the help they can get.  Feel free to donate to their Indiegogo to help reach their goal of $230,000.
