No, it’s not the result of a word mashup I came up with while chugging brews with the boys. It’s a real thing and it’s exactly what it sounds like….Bonsai with a cannabis plant.
Bonsai loyalist and practitioners alike may take offense to the misuse of the term bonsai. Bonsai is the sculptural art form in which a tree is grown in a small pot, and of course cannabis isn’t a tree. Hence the name Cannabonsai, as opposed to Caanabis Bonsai where the term “Bonsai” is redefined to include the cannabis plant.
It’s cool as hell, produces usable crop, and pays homage to a beautiful art form.
