Branding Design is a form of art that is constantly experienced, but equally overlooked. In this piece, design house Acre, takes on the challenge of re-branding the Italian food chain Marco Marco. Named after the traveling merchant Marco Polo, this Singapore based (Yes, Singapore based Italian Restaurant) restaurant chain with 5 locations received a face lift to die for.
Using traditional deconstructed Italian dishes to compliment the simplicity of the design is brilliant on many levels. Mainly being that the restaurants are based in Asia, using the visuals of a broken down meal helps to not only educate, but ease first timers into the idea of eating traditional Italian cuisine.
