This Tiny Iron Fish Could Fix Anemia Worldwide

With at least 2 billion people suffering from iron deficiency worldwide, Anemia is now the worlds most common nutritional problem.  Canadian Dr. Christopher Charles’s creation the Lucky Iron Fish provides 75% of an adult’s recommended daily iron intake in one sitting.

From The Fish’s Mouth

Dr. Charles explains, ““Boil up water or soup with the iron fish for at least 10 minutes…you can then take it out. Now add a little lemon juice which is important for the absorption of the iron” Each fish lasts for several years and will not influence the flavor of the dish it’s cooked into.

In Cambodia, after 2,500 people using the fish for a year, about half no longer show signs of anemia!  With the endless potential for designs, the fish is sure to be worldwide in no time.
