Ron Mueck is a London based sculptor who has taken his prior experience in model making and puppeteering and used it to gain strong footing in the world of Sculpture. His renderings of common everyday people are simply mind blowing. There are no illusions to his work, as all the models he creates are so REAL you might catch yourself holding a conversation with one. He uses scale to add a surreal aspect to certain pieces, making some larger and smaller than one would typically expect.
